Assessor feedback
|
Max, for task 1 part 1 you discuss a
variety of employment opportunities and functions in the Performing Arts. You show understanding a range of jobs, the
demands and responsibilities of each one and you have clear explanations of
their roles. You also explain how some of the jobs are linked to others.
The
front-of-house manager also employs front-of-house assistants to check the
audience's tickets, help them to find their seats, and make sure the theatre
is safe during the performance. These assistants are often also called
'ushers' or 'stewards'.
For task 1 part 2 you create a data base for a theatre company
and you do supply a small list of suppliers of different services for
it saying why they are on the database. You also give examples of how they
interrelate
You use Equity, and say:
they will come to
our rehearsal space to check up on our work space . they will also inshore
that the dancers and actors are not worked for longer than the legal restrictions
and protect them from the tax man by giving our company a insurance agains

Assessor’s summary: strengths and areas
for development
|
Task 1 part 1 is strong –
a good range of jobs well-described and often how some of them are linked.
M1.
Develop it into D1 by even
more comment on how roles are linked and give many more examples of
progression routes: talk about how they would have GAINED experience for each
job you mention – what jobs lower down the scale in each area could they have
done.
Task 2 part 2 you do
create a small database for a theatre company
Develop it into M3 by making
it into a much larger list of services continuing to say clearly for each WHY
they are there. Continue to develop your comments on how more of them can
interrelate.
